Customer Appreciation Day and Sammarco's 75th Anniversary was a huge success. We hope all of our customer's enjoyed a wonderful day of nice weather, delicious food, special pricing, demonstrations and many giveaways.

 
We would like to thank everyone who participated in our raffle and congratulations to all of the winners. Sammarco would also like to thank all of our vendors for donating all of the prizes and without their generosity it would not have been possible. $750.00 was raised to help the Children's Miracle Network , Juvenile Diabetes & Make-A-Wish Foundation. Frank Miceli generously matched the funds raised during the day bringing the total donation to $1,500.00, that will be shared evenly between the three charities.

The Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America. Each year the 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
Founded by parents of children with juvenile diabetes, JDRF has always focused on a single goal-accelerating research progress to cure diabetes and its complications. To that end, their research management process is unique - they're organized as a diabetes cure enterprise. They take informed risks, continuously monitor the global diabetes research landscape, and make research investments strategically, to ensure that resources are effectively directed to research with the greatest impact leading to a cure as soon as possible.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities. They grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

Sammarco would also like to extend a special "thank you" to the Mayor of New Rochelle, Timothy C. Idoni, for attending and presenting Frank Miceli with a proclamation stating that Saturday, April 9, 2005 was "Sammarco Stone & Supply Day."
